Today, we highlight two of the technical contributions SI’s Performance Management and Support Program for Lebanon II (PMSPL II) team provided to USAID/Lebanon. The PMSPL II team supplemented the monitoring and program management efforts of USAID/Lebanon’s staff and to verify, monitor, and evaluate USAID’s programmatic performance in the country.
Over the last six years of PMSPL II, SI generated close to 700 Geographic Information System (GIS) maps providing critical information to USAID/Lebanon. PMSPL II’s GIS Specialist managed the collection, analysis, sharing, and reporting of USAID’s geographic data. PMSPL II produced a map for every evaluation the team completed to visualize numerous factors including geographic distribution of the evaluated sample with overlays such as population and density.
SI’s team provided capacity strengthening services to four non-profit organizations in Lebanon. PMSPL II provided monitoring, evaluation, and learning support as well as training on USAID policies and compliance to further the organizations’ goal of working with USAID directly on future projects.
