The U.S. Department of State has awarded Social Impact a task order to train Department staff in strategic planning, performance management, and evaluation. The award, issued under the Performance Management, Evaluation, and Learning Services (PMELS) IDIQ, covers a base year and two option years.
The courses, delivered through the George P. Shultz National Foreign Affairs Training Center, give Department staff the policies, principles, and practical tools to plan for results, manage evaluations, and use evidence in program and budget decisions. SI will teach the courses in person and online, keep the curriculum current with Department policy and federal evaluation standards, and assess each class to keep improving the training.
The award continues SI’s 15-year history delivering these courses. Over three prior contracts, SI has led more than 50 trainings for State Department staff.
