Through the "USAID Learns" activity, Social Impact is supporting USAID/Vietnam to streamline monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) capacity across Mission teams, increase hands-on capacity building for local organizations and entities, implement innovative approaches, increase effective collaboration among stakeholders, and develop a highly utilized M&E system.

Bangladesh Democracy & Governance M&E Support

SI works with the Office of Democracy and Governance at USAID/Bangladesh to improve the effectiveness of its activities. These activities support democratic processes, strengthen local governance and political parties, combat trafficking in persons, and address gender-based violence and human rights abuses.

USDA Cochran Fellowship Program Monitoring & Evaluation System

SI developed a Results Framework and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system for the USDA Cochran Fellowship Program (CFP). CFP brings professionals from developing countries to the United States for two week trainings on agricultural production and food processing. SI also trained CFP staff on understanding the Results Framework and M&E tools to improve program management.

USAID/Mexico Civil Society Activity

SI is working to strengthen the capacity and sustainability of Mexican civil society organizations. Special emphasis is placed on engaging these organizations in crime and violence prevention, criminal justice reform, and human rights.

YALI Regional Leadership Centers Learning Partner

The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centers (RLC) in Senegal, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa work to train young leaders in leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional development. As The MasterCard Foundation’s Learning Partner, Social Impact developed and is implementing a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Framework for the RLCs.

Liberia Strategic Analysis

SI provided analytical and advisory services to USAID/Liberia to support project design, performance monitoring and evaluation, and learning. SI contributed to improved governance, economic growth, health, and education programs by assisting the Mission with evidence-based decision making.
