Aimee Rose is a MEL expert with 17 years of experience providing technical expertise to international development donors around the world. After joining Social Impact in 2019, Aimee served as the Deputy Chief of Party for USAID/Washington’s DRG Learning, Evaluation and Research (DRG-LER) II Activity, directed SI’s multi-year MEL contract in Laos, and led strategy and evaluation work for USAID/Burma. She also led pro bono strategy work benefitting a DC-area community organization. Currently Aimee is a Senior Director charged with bridging the technical and business development divisions’ efforts to secure new projects.
Prior to joining SI, Aimee was based in Nairobi, serving as Chief of Party for USAID’s Kenya Support Project from 2016 to 2018. She worked in Afghanistan from 2008 – 2014, overseeing technical work on USAID/Afghanistan MEL support contracts and leading research for Johns Hopkins University. Aimee has also led MEL work for UNCHR, the Gates Foundation, the International Rescue Committee, the Aga Khan Foundation, and DAI.
Aimee holds a Master of Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA from Wesleyan University.
