Laura brings over 15 years of experience providing program, management and administrative support, including 11 years managing and supporting US government-funded projects. At SI she oversees a portfolio of long-term MEL platforms and helps set and implement PMU strategy. On her projects, Laura is responsible for financial performance, technical quality, client satisfaction and contractual compliance as well as providing overall managerial leadership in partnership with project leads. In addition to her core program management capabilities, Laura has a special interest in training, capacity building and building highly collaborative, supportive teams.
Throughout her career, Laura has managed and supported projects in Ethiopia, Haiti, Kenya, Honduras, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tanzania, Tunisia, and Vietnam for a variety of clients including USAID and the Department of State. Prior to SI, Laura held positions at DAI, IREX, and Amideast among other institutions. Laura holds an MSc. in Peace Operations as well as a BA in Anthropology from George Mason University.
