Social Impact is pleased to be the prime holder of three new indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts to support the U.S. Department of State. Through these contracts, SI will provide Performance Management and Evaluation Services to bureaus and missions across the Department. Our work will focus on cultural affairs, diplomacy, media, security, and cross-cutting initiatives.

Over the next five years, SI will help the Department operationalize its Managing for Results Framework to promote U.S. foreign policy interests. SI will provide a range of services such as monitoring, evaluation, performance management, training, and technical assistance. These services will strengthen the Department’s regional, functional, and management bureaus’ capacity to monitor, evaluate, learn from, and report on results.

We will build upon the activities SI completed from 2012-2017 under the previous evaluation services IDIQ contract. SI worked with more than a dozen bureaus and offices at the State Department to:

  • improve refugee assistance,
  • combat trafficking in persons,
  • prevent elections-related violence,
  • promote religious freedom and tolerance, and
  • strengthen public diplomacy.

Kerry Bruce, SI Executive Vice President, commented, “After years of training the Department’s personnel and evaluating its programs and processes, we are thrilled to be continuing our work together. We look forward to collaborating with bureaus to build an evaluation culture and increase the effectiveness of U.S. foreign policy.”
