USAID/Haiti recently awarded Social Impact the $11.7 million Evaluation and Survey Services program. Over five years our work will support USAID in its mission to strengthen economic growth and democratic development in Haiti. SI will provide a range of services such as public opinion polls, baseline surveys, midterm and final performance evaluations, impact evaluations, and assessments. These services will be available to support all the Mission’s technical offices and their work throughout the country. Focus areas include the Government of Haiti’s priority development corridors: Port-au Prince, St. Marc, Les Cayes and Cap Haitian. SI’s work will help USAID/Haiti to cost-effectively and efficiently measure, monitor, and evaluate the impact of U.S. development assistance in the country.

Eric Lundgren, SI’s Vice President for its Project Management Unit, commented on the new project, “We are excited to be deepening our partnership with USAID/Haiti. We will leverage our global experience and broad expertise in providing comprehensive evaluation services. Together we’ll work to increase the effectiveness of development programming in the country.”

After completing several projects in Haiti, we’re pleased to be opening our ninth long-term field office in Port-au-Prince this summer.
