Social Impact invites you to a webinar titled “Using Evidence and Learning to Shine a Light on Modern Slavery: Participatory Evaluation Techniques” on Monday, May 16th from 8:00-9:30am EST (8:00-9:30pm PHT). This webinar aims to create a space to unpack and exchange ideas on how participatory methods for evidence-gathering can contribute to faster and more effective use of learning in counter trafficking activities based on what we learned from a recent endline evaluation of the US-Philippines Child Protection Compact Partnership. In this conversation amongst friends, we will explore the ways that participatory methods in evaluation can increase engagement among key changemakers across implementing partners, governments, and institutions and use of evidence for learning and adaptive management. Specifically, the webinar will cover:

  • Methods of engaging evaluation users in participatory approaches throughout an evaluation
  • Benefits of participatory evaluation for more useful findings
  • Enablers to participatory evaluation methods

During the webinar, we will also invite attendees to share their own perspectives on participatory evaluation approaches with the aim of creating a resource that can be distributed more widely. We look forward to hearing your thoughts!

If you would like to attend, please register via this link by May 13, 2022.
