Nancy Murray brings over three decades of experience leading global research, evaluation, and strategic initiatives to improve health, education, and economic outcomes across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Throughout her career, Nancy has worked with multilateral and bilateral donor organizations such as USAID and the Millennium Challenge Corporation and philanthropic partners, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to help them assess the impact of their programs and investments on outcomes for the most vulnerable populations. Her expertise spans a range of critical development sectors, such as family planning, maternal and child health and nutrition, education, early childhood development, agriculture and land, and women’s economic empowerment., and education impact evaluations funded by USAID and Millennium Challenge Corporation.
A trusted advisor and senior project director, Nancy combines expertise in rigorous research methodologies with a deep understanding of country-specific contexts to assess evidence-based solutions that drive meaningful impact worldwide.
Nancy holds a Ph.D. in Population Dynamics from Johns Hopkins University, an M.P.H. in Population and Maternal and Child Health, and an M.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She earned her B.S. in International Politics, cum laude, from Georgetown University.
