Nana Frimpong brings over 15 years of general management experience that spans both the international development sector and the venture backed Healthtech start-up space. As Chief Operating Officer, Nana oversees critical aspects of SI’s work including corporate IT and software deployment, enterprise risk management, global travel, safety and security, external communications, facilities, and the execution of prioritized special initiatives aimed at building systems, business processes, and infrastructure that support SI’s growth. Nana’s areas of expertise include operations management, value proposition development, business model generation, business process improvement, program design, business development, and corporate strategy development and execution.
Additionally, Nana has led the implementation of various public health programs across sub-Saharan Africa funded by USAID, The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, The Global Fund To Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, UN Agencies, corporate funders, and foundations in sub-Saharan Africa.
Nana is the recipient of the Humentum 2017 Industry Award for excellence in Cross Operations. He holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
