Greg brings over 25 years of international development experience to lead SI’s dynamic Business Development team. Greg leads new business expansion by strengthening SI’s portfolio with traditional USG agencies and diversifying to new bilateral and multilateral clients. Greg has served in technical and management positions both with clients and implementing partners, including over 11 years based overseas in Central Asia, Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Initially a democracy and governance expert, Greg began his international development career by building on his domestic election and political campaign experience.

Prior to joining Social Impact, Greg led the Business Development team at International Relief and Development, where he introduced systems and procedures to help maintain a $300-$500 million annual revenue stream at one of USAID’s largest implementing partner NGOs. In his eleven years at USAID, Greg managed democracy and governance portfolios that included projects in elections and political party building, anti-corruption, media and civil society strengthening, conflict mitigation, and rule of law. He led USAID strategy development and assistance around pivotal points in the political transitions in Central Asia and Armenia. Greg also worked for the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES), the Department of State, and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) promoting free and fair elections in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
