Under contract with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Social Impact, Inc. (SI) will collect data for the final performance evaluation of the Feed the Future North (AVANSE) project. AVANSE is a six-year intervention in the North and North East departments of Haiti set under Feed the Future, the U.S. Government’s interagency initiative to combat hunger and food insecurity worldwide by boosting agricultural productivity and increasing market opportunities for smallholder farmers.
As part of this, SI is looking to procure the services of a local data collection firm to manage in-country data collection for this activity. Please see the full Request for Proposals (RFP) for details. This performance evaluation is intended to inform USAID/Haiti’s and the Agency’s possible future similar agriculture programming in Haiti. Lessons learned and recommendations provided through the final report at the end of the evaluation process should guide future programming in the areas of agriculture. Data collection is anticipated to start in June-July of 2019. Local partners will be required to adhere to SI’s rigorous data quality standards among other requirements (see RFP).
SI requests that all bidders examine the specific requirements contained in this RFP and prepare responses pursuant to the terms of this RFP. All questions related to the RFP are to be submitted by Monday, May 20, 2019, 8:00 AM EST, and will be answered by Wednesday, May 22, 2019. The deadline to submit proposals is Monday, June 3, 2019 by 5:00 PM EST. Please refer to the RFP for a detailed documentation of project background and scope of work.
