I joined Social Impact in July 2017 as a Technical Specialist in the Performance Evaluation service area. I have the opportunity to design innovative data collection and research methodologies for development activities in some of the most interesting parts of the world. My work has allowed me to work on issues ranging from water and national security to illicit cross-border trade and countering violent extremism. I am thrilled to engage with this type of challenging and thought-provoking subject matter.

Prior to joining Social Impact I lived in Egypt and worked in South Sudan, Palestine, Lebanon, Somalia, and Nigeria. I completed my Ph.D. in Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia in May 2014. I also speak Arabic, Russian, Hebrew, and French.
