I joined the Social Impact team in April 2017 as a Technical Specialist focused on strategy, performance, and learning. Working with clients including USAID, the Department of State, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, my work spanned design, monitoring, evaluation, change management, facilitation, training, and project management. These are all an essential parts of my toolbox for working with organizations to help them be more effective and relevant in their work.
In April 2019, I transitioned to Addis Ababa as the Training and Communication Director with the Ethiopia Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Services. As part of Social Impact’s team serving USAID/Ethiopia, I provide technical leadership and management to advance the Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) project at the Mission. This involves on-demand support across the Mission’s portfolio, including: integrating a CLA approach in Mission processes and planning; overseeing monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) service and analyses; facilitating CLA events, team building retreats, and strategy reviews for USAID and other agencies, and; training almost 100 people on MEL- and CLA-related topics.
In addition to the diverse and exciting work, I’m grateful to work with colleagues who bring deep commitment and expertise to our work. I was honored when the company recognized me as the 2019 Values Superstar. I hold a Master’s degree from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
