India Health Evaluation Services

Social Impact evaluated several USAID/India health projects. Using quantitative and qualitative analysis, interviews and focus group discussions in the field, process mapping, document reviews and assessments, SI examined health behaviors, family planning policies, health centers, AIDS prevention, and more. SI contributed to a better understanding of the impact of health projects and opportunities for innovative programs and policies.

MCC El Salvador Evaluation Services

SI conducted impact and performance evaluations of the MCC El Salvador Compact infrastructure activities. These activities were part of the Community Development Activity and Connectivity Project and included water and sanitation, rural electrification, and connectivity projects.

Water Communications & Knowledge Management Project

Water Communications and Knowledge Management Project (CKM) is conducting a series of independent ex-post performance evaluations of USAID water and sanitation programs for the USAID Bureau of Economic Growth, Education and Environment’s Water Office (E3/W). Through the Water and Development Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract, SI is supporting the monitoring and evaluation activities of the project.

MCC Mongolia Energy & Environment Impact Evaluation

The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) engaged SI to conduct an impact evaluation of its Mongolia Energy and Environment Project (EEP). This evaluation focused on a subsidy program for energy-efficient household heating stoves. The stoves were designed to reduce air pollution, fuel consumption and health costs.

Bangladesh Democracy & Governance M&E Support

SI works with the Office of Democracy and Governance at USAID/Bangladesh to improve the effectiveness of its activities. These activities support democratic processes, strengthen local governance and political parties, combat trafficking in persons, and address gender-based violence and human rights abuses.

Kosovo Labor Force & Time Use Study

Social Impact is implementing a nationally and regionally representative survey to help MCC design the Kosovo Threshold Program. The study explores labor force participation, with a strong focus on measuring formal and informal employment, vulnerable employment, underemployment, and entrepreneurship. The study also aims to shed light on factors inhibiting participation in the labor market, how Kosovans use their time, and how gender norms affect women’s labor force participation.
