SI works with the Office of Democracy and Governance at USAID/Bangladesh to improve the effectiveness of their projects. These projects support democratic processes, strengthen local governance, combat trafficking in persons, and address gender-based violence and human rights abuses.
SI is providing USAID teams in the Balkans with a wide range of monitoring, evaluation, and learning services through this five-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. This work will help increase understanding of the impact of USAID activities and inform future decision making.

SCS Global’s purpose is to identify and develop effective, evidence-based approaches to strengthen civil society and media organizations as key actors in the development process. SI’s role on this award is to support rigorous Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning in SCS implementation.
SI is collaborating with USAID, academics, sector specialists, and research firms to conduct evaluations and research into activities such as government service delivery and accountability, supporting independent media, and citizen security. SI is measuring how these activities impact democracy, human rights, and governance around the world.
Social Impact assisted USAID’s Center of Excellence on Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) in a targeted research project to better understand how and why different technical sectors such as health, agriculture, and education are integrating common DRG principles (e.g. participation, inclusion, transparency, and accountability) into their programs.
Social Impact provided robust monitoring and rigorous evaluation of a democracy and governance program in Indonesia. USAID/Indonesia’s Kinerja (performance) program addressed the supply and demand sides of local public service delivery. RTI International engaged Social Impact as the independent subcontractor focused solely on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities for the program.
